Expert staffing is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager in Gardner, MA!

 1st shift. Full time. Direct Hire. Mon-Fri 8-5

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be able to implement and monitor directives assigned by the President.

  • Must have good communication skills.

  • Must have basic computer skills.

  • Must be capable of handling multiple priorities / tasks.

  • Must be able to understand and work from written and/or verbal instructions.

  • Must be able to fluently read, write and speak the English language and understand/ work with basic math functions and counting.

  • Must be able to lift and stack materials up to and in excess of 40lbs.

Job Requirements

Essential Functions

·       Provide support for all Final Inspectors across 3 shifts.

·       Hold meetings with quality control personnel on a regular basis to inform them on the status of the quality system and opportunities for improvement.

·       Conduct performance appraisals and solve routine personnel problems.

·       Supervise the implementation and effectiveness of the In Process and Final Inspection System and provide feedback to The President and Manufacturing Personnel.

·       Administration of department documentation, reports, time cards, attendance, vacation, performance, etc.

·       Work with Tooling Engineer, Manufacturing Personnel, and Maintenance to resolve product issues and perform verification duties in support of the tool maintenance program.

·       Conduct studies and associated testing on materials and products, in support of process improvement.

·       Monitor, implement, and maintain the companies Non-Conforming Material Control Program in IQMS.

·       Weekly & Monthly data input and analysis (defect tracking) in support of the company’s goals and objectives for quality.

·       Provide assistance with product audits in the Warehouse and in the In Process Inspection area(s), as directed by the President.

·       Provide Technical Support for Sales and Marketing.

·       Coordinate and train quality control and manufacturing personnel in inspection, test, and sampling plans as well as quality system procedures, work instructions and specifications.

·       Provide ISO Awareness & Quality System Training for new employees when required.

·       Assist in Start-up and In-Process tensile testing of molded product per documented Procedures, Work Instruction, Sampling Plans and Specifications.  Determine the acceptability of the product based on the inspections and tests performed.

·       Maintain ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and assist with ISO Surveillance/Registration Audits.

·       Chair Management Review meetings as required in the ISO 9001:2015 standard.

·       Maintain UL and CSA compliance via Regulatory Compliance Audits.

·       Coordinate Government contract inspections and shipments with the D.O.D.

·       Maintain Mil-Spec qualification every 3 years

·       Under the supervision of the President, conduct support and maintenance on Quality System Functions including, but not limited to: Document& Data Control, Corrective/Preventative Action, Calibration & Internal Audits.

·       Assist in all aspects of the operation, as directed by the President.

·       Administration of department, documentation, reports, time cards, attendance, vacation, performance, etc.
