Job Description:

Expert Staffing is experiencing tremendous growth and is seeking to add a Business Development/Account Manager to cover opportunities in proximity to our West Springfield office.

The primary responsibility is leading the development of new business by initiating the sales process with prospective clients, and ultimately securing the business relationship. Initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments with decision-makers and decision-influencers within a prospective client company.

The Business Development/Account Manager will analyze the prospective client's needs and build custom staffing solutions and present recommendations. Build, customize and deliver sales presentations, maintain and manage client and prospect data in our sales force automation tools, and pro-actively seek new opportunities by telemarketing, making cold calls, and acquiring referrals. This position will report to the Vice President of Business Development.

The Right Candidate:

The right candidate will have prior staffing industry experience and be a proven business development leader with excellent contacts within the Springfield market, business-to-business sales experience, excellent communication skills, a track record of building relationships, and computer skills including the ability to create and edit PowerPoint presentations.

Other important attributes include resourcefulness, flexibility, ability to manage their own activity, and a strong desire to succeed.

Must Have Staffing Experience

Job Requirements:

Staffing industry experience required

Aggressive prospecting (cold calls) Exceptional presentation and closing skills Demonstrated success in new business development to our core business, but also work with leadership to open new lines of business

Meeting and exceeding sales goals and objectives Professional demeanor Strong work ethic Relationship building/People skills Self-motivated with a "Can do" attitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Computer proficient Ability to multi-task and shift priorities 5+ years of B2B sales experience required
