Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(Other duties may be assigned)


·         Review product specs and blueprints for scheduled work assignments.


·         Prepare units for test to include filling fluids, installing test instruments, and pre-setting controls.


·         Check units’ wiring and flows using the proper documentation.


·         Test units using the proper documents and test equipment.


·         Record and calculate data.


·         Perform final run on units as assigned.


·         Prepare unit for shipment, and test related items.


·         Responsible for good housekeeping of individual work area.


·         Responsible for maintaining a daily time log of work done on manufacturing and/or production travelers.


·         Other assignments as assigned by immediate supervisor and/or higher supervisor/s.


 
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:


·         CIT:  establish standards and procedures for continuous improvement.


·         Maintain the currency with respect to technical and supervisory skills by attending training classes, special technical and administration courses; seminars, exhibits and trade shows are needed.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. ·         2 years of related experience, and a broad knowledge of the section and the operation of machines, equipment, and tools that will be used in the satisfactory performance of duties.


·         Ability to use, read, and interprets drawings and measuring scale or tape proficiently.


 
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


·         Working knowledge of electrical trouble shooting Hydraulics, Air Conditioning and Diesel Engine applications.


·         Certified to handle refrigerants per EPA 40 CFR 82 Subpart F prior to use – type 2 or universal, preferred but not required.
