Job Description

The Windchill /CREO Administrator will focus primarily on supporting PTC Creo and administering PTC Windchill. This individual will provide user support for these applications and work with contract support to achieve companywide implementation goals. Will be responsible for translating both user and company requirements into technical solutions. Perform platform maintenance and enhancements needs assessments. Must communicate well with users and management regarding task and project information.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Windchill projects and activities (coordination of all sites/departments and IT resources)
  • Windchill Maintenance Document tasks
  • Maintain vault space
  • Active Directory Integration
  • User Administration (maintenance, cleanup, connection)
  • Review logs for issues
  • Log and temp file cleanup and rotation
  • Application performance management and reporting
  • Work with IT department for environment planning (monitor CPU, RAM, and disk space growth and plan for expansion or clean-up)
  • Remote File Server maintenance
  • Coordinate environment resources and schedules
  • Support and perform code deployments and configuration changes at the system level
  • Maintain system administration documentation and architecture map
  • This position includes working with application users to provide support
  • May be called upon to assist with CAD design work as needed

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  1. Bachelors’ degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or technology related field
  2. 1-3 yrs. of Windchill implementation, administration, and support experience
  3. 1-3 yrs. of CREO implementation, administration, and support experience
  4. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  5. Excellent communication skills
  6. Acute Attention to Detail
  7. Ability to work in fast-paced, multifaceted environment and achieve successful job completion
  8. Well organized, detail oriented, and team player capable of working in a deadline dictated environment
  9. Ability to adequately represent and reflect company philosophy to customers internal and external
  10. Some experience in the medical device field that may include internship/co-op in the Medical Device Industry is desired
